I've now bought these for my 1999 Civic SiR and my 2000 Civic Si. I'd say they were the closest to the Type-R Recaro Seats that I could find and for the price you can't really go wrong. The back portion you can remove and you can now buy matching material if you wanted to make a new back piece with some added lumbar support. Comfort - not too great when new but after you put a few kms on them, I find they're comfortable, as far as racing seats go. I've taken multiple hour trips and I was fine. Definitely recommend. You can see me install them on my Youtube Channel "Trytec" and it will give you a better idea of the colour as well.
